Everyone who thinks that these six or seven MP's woke up one morning and went crazy all on their own raise your hands. Now you all move to the back of the class. New photos are being released that show additional MI Bde folks involved. Since the MI folks didn't work for the 800th MP Brigade that's another separate chain of command. Who above those two separate chains of command coordinated and synchronized the system they were using? Can't be the female USAR General, she didn't have authority over the MI. Can't be the MI Bde commander because he/she didn't have authority over the MP's. Had to be someone who had both of those commanders by the old stacking swivel.
The Army now says that the methods and techniques used at Guantanamo would be inappropriate for Iraq as the determination was made that Iraqi prisoners qualify under Article 5 of the Geneva Convention. If that is true why did they send the commander of Guantanamo to Iraq to discuss the techniques he was using. My bet it was to pass on how to do it "my way".
