Form Over Substance
Their is a nice picture circulating by email this week. It's the one of the President George Bush running with an Army soldier who is recovering from an amputation. A very nice picture. The problem is, if he really feels something for that individual why doesn't he fund the Veterans Administration? His current budget proposal takes the VA below the rate of inflation. That is in effect a cut my friends. If you're going to talk the talk, walk the walk. His budget is almost 2 billion below what almost everyone else says is the need. The soldier in the picture will eventually rely on the VA for his needs.
